Summer
Due to its geographical situation, the Alta Pusteria Valley
exhibits a wide network of itineraries and hiking paths.
At the beginning of July the “Dolomiti
Superbike” event attracts thousands of mountain bike fans
who want to ride on gravel paths or on the classic cycle path
along the Drava river to Lienz in nearby Austria.
What about a refreshing plunge into cool waters? Our new indoor
swimming pool “ACQUAFUN”
(free entrance for our Hotel and Residence guests) or the public
swimming pools Sesto (approx. 15 km) and Lienz (approx. 30 km)
offer the best in refreshing recreation.
And this is what awaits you at our hotel: welcome aperitif,
barbecue evenings, guided mountain excursions with Mr. Rainer…
Winter
The Hotel & Residence Rainer is very closed to the
Elmo ski
mountain (2 km, ski bus service). We are situated in the
heart of the
Dolomiti Superski, the largest single ski pass area with
more than 1,220 km of perfectly prepared slopes.
Mr. Rainer – a qualified ski instructor – will be glad to
introduce you to our skiing area and to give you some practical
pointers.
Besides skiing, a nearly infinite number of winter sports
can be practiced here: cross-country skiing, telemark, ski
excursions with alpine guides, deep-snow skiing, snowboarding,
toboggan (on the tracks of the
Baranci
Mountain (approx. 5 km) and the
Croda Rossa
(approx. 15 km)), snowshoeing, ice skating ….
