History– more than 130 years of tradition
Our house was first mentioned as a wine inn in 1875.
That was the beginning of the long history of “a house rich
in tradition”.
Only a few years later our wine inn became a village inn with
agriculture and after the end of the Second World War Mrs.
Filomena Rainer began to let the first guest rooms. Initially,
the 2 guest rooms were let only during the summer months, but
later on also in winter. That was how the ancient wine inn
developed into an accommodation facility.
Starting from about 1944 also warm dishes were served. The
renovation works that were carried out in the following
decades turned our house into today’s Family hotel Rainer and
since 1995 our Residence Rainer has been offering also
comfortable apartments for its guests.
On the 7th of December 2006 another chapter was opened in the
Hotel Rainer's history: We have enlarged our hotel and now offer
our guests 6 Superior-Rooms in Tyrolean style.
Furthermore, we have built a bio-mass heating station
from where we, biological with wood, serve our hotel & residence
and 16 other households in Winnebach with climate-safe energy. |
