Our house stands in the small village of Prato Drava,
the most eastern fraction of San Candido in the Alta Pusteria
Valley, South Tyrol – Dolomites. The village is situated in a
very quiet position only five minutes by car from the main
village San Candido.
Be prepared to enjoy the special atmosphere and character of our
Hotel & Residence Rainer, in one of the most beautiful settings
of the Dolomites.

The stone-pine “Stube”, the hotel’s à la carte restaurant,
belongs to the oldest part of the house and was the old dining
room. The typical furniture and the stone-pine panels reflect
the long tradition of our house.

On our menu you will find a varied selection of regional and
Italian specialties.
Our bar
The perfect meeting point for old and new friends. Still
today, our house is the official village guest house and
offers a good opportunity to interact with the local population.
The dining room with spectacular view on the Baranci
Mountain offers a stylish ambiance which matches perfectly
with the culinary delicacies.
The rich breakfast buffet and the dinner menu are a real treat
for the palate.

Internet connection and balcony.

For your personal wellbeing: relax in our Finnish sauna
traditionally made of old wood. (The sauna is FREE for our Hotel
and Residence guests.)
Don’t miss a visit to our new indoor swimming pool “ACQUAFUN”
in San Candido. Our Hotel & Residence Rainer is an official
partner of the adventure pool and offers its guests
a very reduced entrance!
In the hotel’s outdoor area you will find a beautiful terrace
where guests can enjoy delicious à la carte meals.
Our spacious garden invites for relaxing in the sun and our mini
golf course promises lots of great family entertainment! (The
use of the mini golf course is FREE for our Hotel and Residence
guests.)
